 Reminders:

Please check your child's green folder today, a paper came home with them.

Ask your child what place they chose, in nature, that makes them feel peaceful and safe. They will use this place to create a poster for land acknowledgement.

Highlights of Grade Three:

• today we learned how to log in to our computers and listen to stories on Epic Books
• yesterday we had art and we chose 5 affirmations to write about ourselves and then we painted them, we also listened to the story Magical Me and the Magical Words Inside
• we went to phys.ed
• we went to music and learned about O Canada
• we read a book today called You Are the Land and we talked about what a Land Acknowledgement is and why they are important. We will be making our own tomorrow so ask me what place in nature I chose to draw for mine
• we started literacy stations, ask me which ones I went to
• we started learning about place value---this year we learn all the way up to hundred thousands!!!!! Check out the paper I brought home in my green folder
• we pracriced nouns, verbs and adjectives! Test me on these at home.
• we did UFLI and are reviewing some phonics from grade 2
